the rumors on the internets is that they just cleaned house and got rid of a bunch of people. DP&W surely made a lot of money, (and I really enjoyed it!) but Phase 4 was widely panned and Phase 5 is 50/50 so far. Quantumania broke even, Marvels lost money, while Guardians III did fine and DP&W made bank. I don't have high hopes for the other two movies in phase 5 but maybe they can turn it around. It would make me very happy if they did!
I don't know how we can judge the success of Disney's streaming offerings but I mostly haven't cared for the ones I've watched, and mostly quit watching them. (of the phase 5 offerings, I only watched What If..)
