As much as I want to ignore this Presidential campaign, there are two things that have me puzzled.
  1. Kamala Harris is not the challenger. She is the incumbent Vice President. If she has viable plans to help those struggling with the economy, why do we have to wait six months to implement them? What’s wrong with now?

  2. Who the fuck is running the country? Biden has been at Rehoboth Beach since he left the convention. He’s still there. Kamala is campaigning. Do we have an active President? Or is this something else we have to wait for until after Inauguration Day?

why is all governments sclerotic where certain things are more likely to get around an imaginary deadline like the end of the fiscal year, a calendar date for a holiday, right before and after elections, etc

it is because (I do not like this answer, it is unsatisfactory for me), you are coordinate dozens to hundreds of people and thus it is the beaurcracy of herding cats

and this also applies to Napoleonic man on the horse stuff, like an army it too is a logistical bureaucracy

give me Labor day, and give me more power from the engine room for I do not think the captain understands the problems
