Of yours, I have seen:
Is 'Bring It On' a gay movie? Devil Wears Prada? I liked DWP, but wouldn't have ID-ed either as a gay movie. Didn't really care for Birdcage.
I suppose I like some gay subtext movies like Roadhouse or Top Gun, but not FOR the gay subtext.
As Greg wrote, doesn't have to BE a "gay" movie for this post.
I did very much enjoy the first Top Gun. I actually am not sure it had gay subtext. I mean, yes, it showed males very close to one another with a deep bond. But, I find the modern idea that every man who has a close, loving bond/relationship with another man is gay or bi or whatever to be rather annoying. Men can have incredibly close relationships with one another and it's just a male bond, nothing gay about it. No sex. No romance. No attraction. Just a different type of love. But, tell that to the the idiots who gate keep our culture now and it's all, "no, they're just closeted or bi". Fuck that. The Platonic friendship has and does actually exist.
That wasn't directed at you, btw. Just one of my many pet peeves about every fucking thing having to be gay.
