I never thought of the Matrix films as being thematically gay. But in retrospect, it's easy to see the allegory for gender transition.


as a movie that ruined my life / hyper-fixation … yes the movies are very trans , no I will not elaborate further all the easter eggs, references, etc like it is Ulysses or Infinite Jest.

Stupid movie I saw at 15 for the first time not in theaters but at the house of a boy I loathed, but we had a school project together, him burning me an video cd copy of it like Tank looking through his stash of disks … teaching Neo Kung Fu .
