Egypt has had its border crossing to Gaza closed since Hamas came to power. Egypt wants nothing to do with the Palestinians. Jordan wants nothing to do with them either. None of the Arab nations in the region are talking about resettling the Gazan refugees. Why is that? Because the Palestinians would be a destabilizing force in any country they settle in. And that tells a lot about what the Arabs think about the Gazans/Palestinians.
Jordan's is slightly larger - about 12%
Where would Egypt or Jordan come up with the money to not impoverish the Palestinians if they were accept them as refugees? Even if they could be entrusted not to attack their hosts (Jordan learned the hard way in 1970 that they could not be) how could they even absorb that many sudden dependents?
