So,
"choosing the side effects of puberty blockers" == "the irreversible effects of puberty"
Which is
"artificially retarding/preventing normal human development" == "normal human development"
Which is
"doing something" == "doing nothing"
...
Do you truly believe this? I have mad respect for those whose families have fallen into this trap when they say "I don't understand it, but I love them and want them to be happy." I may vehemently disagree about how they define happiness, but I can fully understand their logic, and respect them for sticking to what they know.
But this, this I cannot fathom. If I am misrepresenting your logic, please enlighten me. If I misunderstand entirely, say so. But to me, those three statements are exactly the same. And to me, they seem completely absurd.
Because "doing something" is never "doing nothing".
