Life stinks right now, or else I would have already started watching it ... at a slow pace.
I was excited but also trepidatious when I saw the three showrunners
Neil Gaiman, Allan Heinberg, and David S. Goyer. I was slightly nervous for all 3 of them have so much talent, but also lack, and I was not sure if them together was going to be more than the sum of their parts or something less.
Same logic with it being on Netflix instead of something like HBO.
