If there's a better argument for a parent to go out and buy an AR-15 than armed cops preventing unarmed civilians, intent on protecting their children, from entering an active shooter zone, I don't really know what is.
America was founded on "well if those in charge won't fix shit, we will", and those cops threatening parents with tazers deserve to have their badge taken away at a minimum, and personally, I think they oughta lose their balls, too. Cowardice at that level, where you're biting at those on your own side, in this sort of situation, deserves the harshest punishment.
God forbid I ever have a kid, and I've no desire to own a gun, but if I did, those Texan "law enforcement officials" would have given me all the motivation I'd need to go buy whatever was necessary to protect my family.
And I am glad you also do not believe in Great Replacement Theory, but people can literally say the exact words you just said two weeks ago and then shoot up 10 people in Buffalo New York.
Also we do know from that Buffalo NY he was in regular correspondence with several people via Discord fan groups. One of the people he was in regular correspondence was a retired FBI agent from Texas.
Well the day of the Massacre the shooter sent Discord invites where they can watch it live and it was done 30 minutes prior to the shooting. Well the authorities are now investigating whether that former FBI agent "accepted" the link that was sent, and thus whether he had forewarned knowledge of the event and did not contact anyone else (which was his duty.)

And that is the thing about duty and obligation. You have defined your duty and obligations to your family in a way I do not think is going to hurt me and others TyrReborn. Other men who use the exact same language and have guns think they must use the guns in little zealot crusades where they need to kill people for there is some great replacement nonsense, or the queers are corrupting the society and so on.
About 3% of Americans own 50% of the Guns. I am comfortable with men and women having Guns (not all types of Guns) but when it is distributed like that, and said 3% are buying more and more guns and higher power guns, then I am starting to be more concern over Terrorism, Mass Shootings, but also the far more common everyday "passive aggressive" form of controlling space and sometimes that passive aggression leads to actual death for the nice dividing line between passive and actual aggressive is a hair trigger.
(yes I am signifying the world is complex, beautiful, and monstrous all at the same time for that is the consistency of the world)
