I’m not trying to debate. I am starting by stipulating the status quo is not good enough. Then by asking if we can discuss plausible solutions without moral posturing if someone disagrees. For example, I think your suggestion for more trauma care in high crime areas is a good one. Trauma surgeons and nurses in such areas are hideously overworked.

Of course, the last time I checked, no one needed my permission to reply however they want on this board. If you believe my requests are unreasonable then act accordingly.
