The article you referenced was about the Texas abortion ban, which draws the line at heartbeat. Not zygote formation, not implantation, and certainly not at the level of sperm/egg. Heartbeat.
You avoid this because it becomes exceedingly difficult to argue that the thing being killed aborted is an individual human life. Instead you try to make the science murky by intimating that meiosis is a reasonably put forth argument against abortion. That’s intellectually dishonest.
