I would advise against expecting moral consistency from what we can call the "fetus is a human" crowd. Because all life is sacred when there's political hay to be made, but these sacred lives can be executed, enslaved, starved, lynched or denied any number of fundamental rights when it's expedient.
All humans are hypocrites and contain tensions / psychodynamics.
No matter what there will be excess here on this issue, and there will also be corresponding loss at the same time. That is part of being human much like being a hypocrite is. You are getting excess joy / jouissance in French by calling people hypocrites.
Solomon understood this per a myth, who wants to shoulder the burden, costs, and loss should be the one who decides. That is the only ethical choice, but even then there will be loss and excess.
yet that kingdom will not be heaven for they are alone in their zeal and moral smugness.
