Given the crapton of bad news from every direction, the Texas bounty-hunter anti-women law had receeded in the background. In some ways, everyone is waiting for the Supreme Court to almost certainly deal an even greater blow in a few months.
The interesting, and unfortunately all to real, headline of this article caught my eye, and so I read it.
It's hard reading, but I have to wonder if the GOP really knows what it's setting off, here. Banning abortion in the abstract might seem like a moral, even pro-life, decision. Ironic given their complete lack of interest in stopping the spread of covid, but that's a whole other story.
Reading this, though, it seems pretty likely that what they're going to actually get is more abortions, earlier, because women can no longer afford to take time to think through their options.
As the party of "bodily autonomy" sticks its fingers deeper into women's vaginas, I also wonder if they're ready to face the rage all this is going to create.
sure it will create rage, but we do not know if the rage will be potent or impotent, no one knows, thus we feel the trouble
