Not really. You judge a Constitution by how it does in the face of changes to society, technology and economics. And yours has failed. It's not a particularly surprising result, either. It was a good first iteration. Build on it.
As to the rest, it might very well happen. Most younger voters certainly don't revere American history nor its Founding Fathers. Once they are the majority, who knows what will change? Any and all gods willing, it will happen after I'm gone. If I somehow manage to hang around another 20+ years, I can sit and rock on my front porch while waving my cane angrily at these dastardly voters.


To the contrary, the younger voters honor the Founders and the Constitution the most by asking better of it. Cynically giving up and settling for "small government" whatever that means is the thing that's dastardly.
