They're going to have to make up a lot of story here, and based on what I've read, they're doing so with wild abandon. I have the foreboding sense that we will look back on Season 1 of WoT fondly after seeing what they come up with in September.

Once the first teaser trailer comes out. If they make the show like Jackson made the Lord of the Rings, then we should be good. However if they make the show like Jackson did the Hobbit movies then we must surely abandon ship.
Amazon ruined WOT so I don't know whether to be excited or apprehensive about this.
