We have a title now. We also have showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay. Who don't have many existing credits that make us confident they can do this.

Can I hope or is that a fool's errand?
As for the show, I read somewhere that the show has to fit in with the established history by the terms of their licensing agreement, so hopefully it will be okay. One never knows, though. I'll be giving it a shot. I don't know all that much about this part of Tolkien lore, so changes will be less obvious to me.
