This books begins a series that is comparable to Dresden, in my opinion. I really like the world this was written in. I find myself asking stupid questions about outer space and how far the tech/magic shifts expand in the universe because that is a plot hole. If you can suspend your intelligence just that little bit, you will really love these books.
