I didn't say it was harmless. I didn't even suggest it. I believe that would be you reading into what I said. I can honestly say that I didn't even think that in my mind when I typed that post. Instead, I said that it has a death rate of less than 1%. You communicated that some hospitals/ICU's are at high levels of occupancy. Ok...what's your point? Hospitals are full.
Can you give me some data on the amount of people who contract Covid vs. the number of people admitted to hospitals for Covid? I would suspect that the data suggests far more people are not admitted. I know 5 people who actually contracted it. Of those 5, one was admitted. She is obese, diabetic, and has bad kidneys. She was there for 3 days...and could have gone home after 1 (doctors kept her "out of an abundance of caution" ).
Ok, and so they have permament lung damage. So do smokers. We do not shut down the world for them either (and that causes cancer too).
