I'm getting fed up with this. Restrictions have been hardened here, due to increased spread. Schools are still open (I'm a teacher), but from grade 10 we have mostly remote. My fiancée is home with our 5 month old baby, it's rough not being able to do normal stuff.
In the US and Europe we have a "coordination" problem. The people who are already doing the right things (more or less) should not need reminders to do the right thing for it is salt in the wound.
Yet the people who are ambivalent, who will not coordinate, is making it worse for the rest of us.
We know via Asia and the English Speaking Oceania that this is a solvable problem, but to solve it requires better skills with coordinating.
It is "a sick joke," which is not the best word choice to say while typing drunk.
