I voted Libertarian in 2016 ... Roonas Send a noteboard - 03/11/2020 02:41:32 AM

So it's the semi-anti-vax Libertarian candidate for me.

Our electoral college votes are going to Trump, and we're almost certainly going to dump our Dem Senator no matter who I vote for.

I haven't been this unenthusiastic to vote since last time! Actually, last time, I thought the two candidates were so abysmal that finally the Libertarians might break 5%. Since they didn't in 2016, I figure they never will.

Just to help out in NY ballot maintenance for the Libertarians more than anything, because I did and do agree with your assessment of the choices then, and Gary was the least offensive.

Sad to say for 2020, Jo lost my pity vote the second she walked outside party mandate to pander for votes with the BLM-Communism-Riot/Looting shit - it was the exact antithesis of 'Libertarianism' ... get government out of this crap, not more into it ... that should be the platform. She wanted to be popular and shout "look at me". I didn't like what I saw.

I'm registered independent (not capitalized due to there being the Independent / Independence Parties in NY State) - just so I don't get overwhelmed with mailers and calls etc.

I am getting old and less interested in how to get political change to effect real-world change, and more into how can I help out my fellow human being in the practical sense - non-corporate or even for-purpose/cause/affiliation - just help where it's needed in whatever way I can and move along.

Let the politics of government die, and allow the structure of humanity to rise in the frame work of what was intended by the constitution. Where we can all disagree and be different (states) and have different ways of life, but we are all one country (USA) and respect each-other's humanity while still disagreeing and getting on with life.

This temper-tantrum needs to come to an end before we can get down to real work of fixing the problems of our fellow human.

E Pluribus Unum. Out of many, One.

See ya'll on the other side,
