this debate is reminding me of a Spanish debate TV show I once saw. Not political debates, just a bunch of random people debating on a different topic every week. Their moderators did have the ability to cut mics and they used it liberally, but it did no good whatsoever, people just tripled their volume and kept ranting anyway. I expect it would be the same with Trump.

However, I saw a suggestion on Facebook that next time they should have the debate on Zoom or a similar program. Of course, there a moderator could truly mute people if it was called for. I dare say Trump would just switch to Twitter and write whatever he couldn't say anymore, in real time, but at least people would be able to hear Biden talk...
