Grilled Cheese? How about Bierocks? aerocontrols Send a noteboard - 11/08/2020 02:48:20 PM

So I'm the guy in our house who makes yeast-bread stuff, and about a year ago I volunteered to make Bierocks, and everyone loved them. One of the kids analogized them to home-made Hot Pockets, and so I occasionally try non-traditional fillings (which is typically spiced ground beef, cabbage, and chopped onions - I don't know, my wife makes the filling while I make the bread).

The problem I have is that when I try to make ham & cheese, or taco-flavored, or pizza-flavored, they're pretty dry. Next time I do pizza I'm going to add more pizza sauce, I think last time I didn't do much at all. But what about ham & cheese? Maybe sour cream in the taco-flavored ones?

Any suggestions for other savory fillings?
