But the situation holds, for the same reasons, for people coming in. It would be one thing if the administration had said they would do this a few months ago. Dropping this now makes it a mad scramble.
He wrote "I’m not trying to justify deportation proceedings, merely asking a question?" That clearly implies he was referring to people here already.
But you have a certain Pavlovian response to damookster now where you can't help but interpret his words in a more negative way than if I were interpreting his words.
ICE has declared that foreign students must leave the country if they take courses online...
