Especially regarding the black community. The biggest driver of the racial success/wealth gap is the breakdown of the black family. This gap closes dramatically when you look at income and education achievements of black families with 2 parents in the household. Get married, stay married, have children, value education, etc. This is the blueprint for success for all races and people in the US.
Is there an advantage to being white in the US? Sure. But no more than being the majority race/ethnicity of any other country. And as per the census, demos are quickly changing.
Do we need some common sense police reforms? Sure. But as pointed out in the Floyd thread, the issues with police and unarmed black citizens are minor. The data is clear.
