Almost didn't open it
Arthur C Clarke had a novel called The Light of Other Days where they learned how to make micro wormholes that could look backwards in time and to any location that could be specified. It in had the affect of making any moment in the past or present open to anyone who cared to look and since there was no way to even detect the holes it made privacy impossible. Some people ignored it but some people reacted more radically. Some took to living in the dark so no one could watch them and others took having sex in public because privacy was a lie. I think we are seeing the same thing happen today with the data. Most people just try and pretend it isn't happening while some try and get off the grid and other pour their out entire life there for everyone to see.
The book is worth the read by the way.
