The hostesses talk about themselves a lot more than I prefer, and I wish it was easier to skip that part. (It's not super hard, but the non-WoT talk is not well demarcated).
They haven't read the books as much as I have, so a lot of times they are flat-out wrong about what's happening in the book, which is annoying but just a little. Hey - they're putting in the work to make content I enjoy. Sometimes I'm not certain whether they are wrong or I am (they are 'pretty sure' that Jordan pulled the Thom/Moraine love story out of his ass late in the books, I'm 'pretty sure' that Min told Moraine that she and Thom would get married one day when she first saw them together in Baerlon and hints to that effect throughout the books are such things as Moraine being unreasonably certain that Thom didn't get killed by the Fade at Whitebridge and that also that she would not die when she tackled Lanfear, etc. I don't think that stuff was retconned)
They see and discuss patriarchy in the books, whereas I think the world-building pretty clearly leans the other direction. Post-Breaking, the Wheel of Time is a world where women have more power than men.
I would definitely listen to a better podcast, though. I'm not planning on a re-read.
I'm not sure if I will watch the TV series.
