#2 Suspending Parliament before a new session is a completely normal thing.
#3 What's not normal is the length of time - nearly 5 weeks is outrageous.
#4 The most egregious thing is the timing: we're supposedly leaving the EU on 31 October and we have no deal. That's 9 weeks to get everything in place. It's not going to happen.
Boris is allowing Parliament no voice in this most urgent of times. He's playing with people's lives and livelihoods.
It's a disgrace.
