I wish you luck. I've been in a similar place and it has the unacknowledged benefit of removing that pesky "privacy" thing. This is an especially fun aspect for those who supervise individuals and when Performance Review time comes, they get to somehow hide their computer screen info from other people. Oh the good times.
If your place is anything like mine, people will eventually all settle into sitting in their regions/neighborhoods and eventually people will start to sit in those same places day after day. That whole "innovation" and "collaboration" initiative gets shot in the foot after about a month. It will be interesting to see if the ones who signed off on this realize this, and then start to shift the actual furniture around every month or so.
Where it will get fun is the restroom. You will quickly learn that your only acceptable windows of use are immediately after custodial services has finished their work. Otherwise, you may as well be using a gas station bathroom.
A minor bit of advice, have select stuff you need to help carve out your own space. Like you have to use an ergonomic keyboard, mouse, and chair...or else its a safety thing. Start to use a clip board on one side and a document holder or something on the other side...these establish your boarders. Or in other words...put a wall up. The visual deterrent means something.
