What's the call on humor for extreme stereotypical behavior or other 6-sigma weirdos? Still edgy but acceptable for gays, straights, men, women, hipsters, WASPs, various races, handicapped, etc?

I mean, there's a worker in a local supermarket deli who looks like Bill Dauterive put too much makeup on his face, but no wig on his head. My wife isn't allowed to make fun of me for the time I was forced to ask... her..? to help me find the sausage?
