Says who? The same people shrieking about this "outrage" would have absolutely no problem separating children from their parents if the parents belonged to a religion, or sought to live a lifestyle of which the whiners do not approve.

I have a bigger problem with the timing of this media shitstorm. I believe the policy directive for zero tolerance, which then required the separating, was issued in March. One would assume heartbreaking photo ops, audio and video were easily available in April and May. Why then did this become a media obsession now? Coincidence that the OIG report was released last week?
