it seems strange to me, from a purely ideological perspective, that someone who does not believe in enforcing federal law would himself seek to write federal laws. federal laws which he does not believe should be enforced at the state level.
now, speaking in terms of personal power, it makes total sense. because moore has been removed from the bench twice for his egregious misconduct so why not step up the ladder where he will be more untouchable for his ethical transgressions?
