much akin to that "fidget spinner". Only instead, this is a concept or idea.
That fidget spinner does nothing more then give someone's hands something to occupy itself with. Instead of the individual learning how to keep their hands still....learning how to discipline their mind....they placate their issue.
It's much like a craving for something. You don't make the craving go away by feeding it. You make it go away by starving it out. If you give in to every craving that comes across your path, you're no more then a beast going from one craving to the next.
But I'm with you...I'd like to see some studies. And not the pop culture, wanna catch a news feed headline study. Some hard core, peer reviewed, research driven with actual data study. You know, the kind that is difficult to impossible for a headline and incomprehensible to grasp for the frat boy/sorority girl "researcher" out there....
