I think the linked article does a good job of explaining the rise of "victimhood culture." I also think a lot of conservative types use the excesses of young kids in order to scream about "PC culture gone wild," when really what they're upset about is being told it's no longer acceptable to throw around racial and homophobic slurs.

And yet, from what I see, those conservative types are now the ones who shoulder the responsibility for protecting the primacy of free speech on campuses. I would be interested in seeing a breakdown of the articles' views broken down into political leanings. Left, Center, Right.

As for microagressions and trigger warnings - both need to go away. Far, far away.
