It's a cooperative of grower-owners. I don't believe that the people who pick the fruit for the growers are in charge of the company. Cooperatives are voluntary associations of owners, much like agricultural storage cooperatives set up in the Midwest to help owner-farmers take advantage of grain price fluctuations. Calling that "socialism" is like calling support of free speech "fascism".

Next thing I know you're going to say that factoring agreements are socialism too, along with insurance and retirement plans.
