View original postseeing Littlefinger get it, his "trial" felt like a kangaroo court, which didn't sit well with me because it's yet another example of the supposed good guys doing things the audience would almost certainly condemn the Lannisters for doing. Heck, even Tyrion got a fairer trial, and he had an enraged Cersie stacking the deck against him.
It wasn't a trial at all. They said some stuff, he denied it, they killed him. I'm not super complaining, but it didn't feel right for Starks.
View original postPlus, it felt like the writers forced a Stupid Pill down Littlefinger's throat prior to the scene, since it seemed like there were a couple of ways he could have at least tried to defend himself, like pointing out Sansa ALSO lied about how her aunt died and therefore might not be trustworthy either, or calling Bran's testimony into doubt. After all, WE know Bran's visions are true, but does everybody else know that? You'd think they might require a bit more evidence.
He's THE weasel, and he couldn't think of anything to say?
View original postNot saying I wanted him to weasel his way out of this, just that it seemed like there were a couple of ways he could have attempted to keep the Knights of the Vale on his side, which would have given him a fighting chance.
View original postIt was still fun to see him get caught out and break down sniveling though, even if it was silly.
But yes. Thank goodness. He and the girls were getting on my last nerve.

Isn't incest really only a genetic problem if you do it over several generations?

The problem is that Targaryens have been doing it. It's why Viserys and Aerys were nuts.

Yes, true. If the genetics are perfect and there are no mutations then there is no genetic issue.

Well, in-universe, there was already an uncle-niece marriage that produced two kings.
