seeing Littlefinger get it, his "trial" felt like a kangaroo court, which didn't sit well with me because it's yet another example of the supposed good guys doing things the audience would almost certainly condemn the Lannisters for doing. Heck, even Tyrion got a fairer trial, and he had an enraged Cersie stacking the deck against him.
Plus, it felt like the writers forced a Stupid Pill down Littlefinger's throat prior to the scene, since it seemed like there were a couple of ways he could have at least tried to defend himself, like pointing out Sansa ALSO lied about how her aunt died and therefore might not be trustworthy either, or calling Bran's testimony into doubt. After all, WE know Bran's visions are true, but does everybody else know that? You'd think they might require a bit more evidence.
Not saying I wanted him to weasel his way out of this, just that it seemed like there were a couple of ways he could have attempted to keep the Knights of the Vale on his side, which would have given him a fighting chance.
It was still fun to see him get caught out and break down sniveling though, even if it was silly.
