The list of grown up people who consider Game of Thrones better than The Wire is microscopic. I was talking about more entertaining. I literally wrote "rather...watch". How is that hard to grasp?

Game of Thrones is mindless pandering, with some of the stupidest dialogue in the genre outside of a Sanderson novel, and is relentlessly insulting to the audience's intelligence and attention span, and as soon as they no longer had the work of a professional writer to crib off of, the slipshod, haphazard style of storytelling made it abundantly clear they were making it up as they were going along.

High production values and shock-motivated plot twists do not make for a great TV show, let alone the greatest ever.
