No, I don't have a solution. And I'm largely wary of the ones I've seen. Your immigration restrictions might work--though telecommunications and the resulting outsourcing are also highly disruptive--but I'm not so enamoured of statism that I feel comfortable turning away people who want to become part of the country.

That said, I recognize that it may be the least bad solution. Increased automation will require significant changes in how we approach capitalism.
