My fiancee and I bought a cockapoo puppy last night. It took us two hours to drive home through torrential rain, blinding lightning, and the odd tornado or two. He napped the whole way.
Fed and watered, he didn't potty til 3:30am after running around outside for an hour and a half. New sights, new smells - very intimidating for a little boy.
He went again at 6:30 before I left for work (it only took five minutes of running around this time), so we are on our way to a routine where we can housebreak him without too much trouble.
As a cockapoo, his mom is a miniature poodle and his dad is a cocker spaniel. He definitely takes after his dad in appearance, with big floppy ears that get in his water bowl when drinking and black patches on mostly white coat.

make sure you get him all his vaccines and dewormers!! He'll be a happier puppy!!
on and clean out those nice floppy ears. Cockers get SUCH nasty ears >< actually, in general keep him clean. every cocker/cocker-cross/similar dog I've seen in the clinic I'm working in these past few weeks has SOME kind of skin condition
