Today has been a day that I refuse to allow to be bad. I spilled coffee under my desk, ripped my sweatshirt and probably annoyed numerous people but I decided today will be good. So I am just overlooking all of that. I got a really nice compliment this morning and I am just going to let it float me through the day and banish all the bad feelings that I have been having for at least today.
The compliment was given to me by a checker at the local supermarket. I was joking around with him before going to work this morning and he said “More people should be like you.” How very cool and rare that someone finds me amusing enough to think there should be more of me.
I am slogging through the last 15 minutes of a very slow day. Almost there!
