My 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend is coming up this Sunday. A lot of stuff has happened in the past 2 years. I felt like a would be in a more definite place mentally this long after I graduated, have some sort of master plan for what I want to do with my life, but alas this hasn't happened. Nevertheless, one thing has remained constant and definite and that has been Colin; we've had our ups and downs, but he is one thing I know that is right for me right now, and I am hoping for a lot more 2 year increments.

i hit the 2 years with my current partner in december last year... we're still together and likely to stay that way... 2 years is an interesting point because that's when the chemistry starts to wind down and then you only get random bursts of that same chemistry that was ramping up in the first 2 years of togetherness. so when you hit 2 years, you start to think, is this the person i really want to hang out with and talk to and do life-things with for the rest of my existence, or what? it's a cool thing to really have to start thinking about... it's different than the initial high of being with this person you are interested in to the person you are living life with. i'm happy you're looking forward to your future with your boyfriend!
