I wasn't too hopeful after the first one. Not that it was bad, but it just didn't fulfill the expectations set by NWN to begin with. I actually really enjoyed both expansions.
I never finished Mask of the Betrayer or played the second expansion (Storm of Zehir?). I played the original NWN and both expansions, however, and Hordes of the Underdark was absolutely phenomenal... too bad nothing since has lived up to it.
When I finish Awakenings (probably tonight), I'm planning on starting a new character to play Origins and Awakenings straight through before going back to replay NWN2.
