If I could sum up this game in one phrase it would be: Comparatively Disappointing.

But if you really loved DA, I would still recommend playing it. Just don't expect a week of game play, incredible depth and endless re-playability. I finished the game and though "What, that's it?" Compared to DA, it was very short. Furthermore, the lack of at-will conversation meant I did not accomplish some henchmen tasks. The plot was still interesting (if threadbare) and the characters still fun (if undeveloped), and the game play and combat still enjoyable. If you played DA and want to continue the "plot" with your characters, I'd play it. If this game was a stand-a-lone game, it would be iffy as to whether I would recommend it at all.

I'm crossing my fingers that this game is only meant to bridge the gap between Origins and the third installment. For such a bright beginning, I would be dismayed to find out that was the climax of the franchise.
Still Empress of the Poofy Purple Pillow Pile Palace!!
Continued Love of my Aussie <3

Awakenings is mediocre, then again the original did not live up to expectations either - 22/03/2010 11:01:50 PM 410 Views
I'm praying that the second expansion makes up for it - 23/03/2010 03:16:37 AM 377 Views

Plot wise, Storm of Zehir was quite lacking - 24/03/2010 02:01:09 PM 382 Views
