- The game is visually beautiful.
- The game has the feeling of being Squeenix's version of Mass Effect.
- I am on Chapter 2, and I'm still lacking the "feel" of it being a FF game.
- The characters have downright stupid names (Lightning, Snow, Hope). Two of those characters are guys.
- I'm kinda digging the battle style. Getting used to it. For those who don't know, its a hybrid system between FFXII & all the rest. In this one, the enemies are running around like in XII, but when you encounter them, it will flash to the "fight" screen and you fight like an old school game. ATB meters, imput actions.
- The fact that after you make it out of a battle, everyone is back to full life...wierd.
- So there are no towns or anything...just electronic shop things (which are also save points). For those who played Dead Space, think of those shop things that the ship had. From time to time, new items would be introduced and all that. Same thing.
So yeah. Right now...it does remind me alot of FFVIII in the fact that its technological and what not...but I know that this is while I'm in the big city thing. I'm sure on the planet, it will be different. I look forward to getting home to start playing more.
