There are certain types of games that I do enjoy pulling out every once and a while to play again. The Civilization games I tend to pull out every now and again... self-made scenarios or just random games. It's fun to conquer the world every once and a while. (Note: I doubt anything doing with the Civilization franchise would go belly-up any time soon. It's just the type of game that I often go back to a couple times)

Though, I tend to play a game a time or two, and then I move on to something new. If I enjoyed the game, or didn't do everything, I tend to go back to the game after a year or two. Heck, I just reloaded Oblivion.

The idea that I paid full, ownership price for a game, and that I might not be able to enjoy that game on my own terms, or at all if something happens to the company/host... well that is off putting.
