Understandable. I slogged through it my first playthrough, but for the second, I cheated. :P


I'm simply curious....can you elaborate on "I cheated"?

I'm about 1/2-way through my first play I'm guessing, and easily the mineral gathering is the most annoying part of the game so far for me. I don't look forward to it...at all. In fact, I kind of hate the fact that I HAVE to do it in order to get upgrades....it's simply a boring waste of time, even more so than the old mako missions.

I see that there's an upgrade for mineral scanning, which I'm currently trying to get enough resources to buy, but it's a struggle. Is this all you're talking about? Does this upgrade significantly improve the process and lessen the monotony?

Or, is there something else going on.....and if so, can you please inform me? (assuming it's not a major spoiler kind of thing that is, knowing where I'm at in my 1st play)
