I promise, developers, we'd have been fine waiting the extra month or five for you to finish plot details. you just had us whining about what you cut instead.
Six hundred times out of ten, it's the publisher that wants it out the door right now. The other twenty times out of ten, it's ship the product now or go bankrupt and never ship the product. You can be sure that the devs know if their game isn't finished, and don't feel like rushing and ruining the last year or two of their life's work if they can avoid it.
