I don't play CoD as much, but from what I've seen the anti-camping sentiment is even worse on Halo. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the reason for that is the audience that Halo seems to attract (12 year olds and socially challenged "adults" ) isn't quite intelligent enough to understand the advantages of not just running headlong into enemy fire 24/7. I've had many similar situations where some one sends me an angry message, whether it be for camping or something else, because of how I played, and no I don't usually let it effect how I play. I just laugh.
