I did, because I'm an idiot. I know that the ban bans only the console. But, if I get a new console, can I use my old hard drive on the new one?


Most bans are short term. I think a first offense usually nets a week or a month, except for modding. Modding gets the box banned completely. But you should be able to use the HD on another box with no problem.
