Any of the top 10 games on BGG are worth a look. They may not all be to your taste but they're all very good games (my top pics from these would be Dominion, Agricola and Tigris & Euphrates).

Other than that I like Race for the Galaxy, Carcassonne (I prefer the Hunters & Gatherers version), Blue Moon City, Starcraft the Boardgame, Pillars of the Earth, Pandemic, Fairy Tale, Ingenious, Space Alert... oh hell, I could go on for ages ^_^
