Why? Aemon Send a noteboard - 02/09/2009 04:19:53 AM
I DO, however, think that we should get rid of the Xbox/Wii/Playstation etc subjects completely, and switch to genres of games instead of platforms, with a few extras thrown in, like News.

I'm sitting here giving this way too much thought, so why don't I just ask you to explain yourself, instead of trying to make the arguments myself. :P How would a genre system be more beneficial than a platform setup? Option one allows you to quickly determine which genre the game is a part of, while option two allows you to quickly determine what system the game is for.

Why is option one better?

The second option is certainly simpler. - 02/09/2009 04:30:35 AM 820 Views
Because the genre of a game is more relevant to it's content than the system it runs on. - 02/09/2009 04:36:32 AM 690 Views
True, but you have to consider what topic relevance is used for. - 02/09/2009 05:22:49 AM 672 Views

I see what you're saying, but that's a pretty convoluted way to make an analogy. :p *NM* - 02/09/2009 04:19:26 PM 377 Views
